e-Delivery

Sugester supports e-Delivery, the electronic official communication system in Poland.

What is e-Delivery (e-Doręczenia)?

e-Delivery is the Polish system for electronic delivery of official correspondence. It will replace registered letters with acknowledgement of receipt in contacts with public administration. Companies listed in the Polish KRS and CEIDG registers must have an e-Delivery mailbox.

The system is based on a qualified electronic registered delivery service (PURDE) and carries the same legal effect as traditional post. Every delivery is confirmed with the date and time of receipt.

How does e-Delivery work?

1. e-Delivery address - the company registers its address in the address database (BAE) run by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. The address looks like ADE-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

2. Inbox - official correspondence arrives in an electronic mailbox that you are required to check regularly.

3. Proof of receipt - the system automatically issues proof of delivery with the date and time, the equivalent of a return receipt.

4. Archiving - all delivered documents are stored electronically in line with legal requirements.

Who has to use e-Delivery?

Companies in the KRS

Companies and other entities listed in the Polish National Court Register must hold an e-Delivery address.

Sole traders in the CEIDG

Sole proprietorships listed in the CEIDG register are also covered by the e-Delivery obligation.

Regulated professions

Advocates, legal advisers, notaries, tax advisers and other regulated professions must adopt e-Delivery.
